About Richard T. Kelly
Richard T. Kelly is the author of the novels Crusaders (2008), The Possessions of Doctor Forrest (2011), The Knives (2016) and The Black Eden (2023). Eclipse, his first script for television, aired on Channel 4 in 2010. He has also written several studies of filmmakers: Alan Clarke (1998), The Name of this Book is Dogme 95 (2000), and the authorized biography Sean Penn: His Life & Times (2004). Keegan and Dalglish, his dual biography of the legendary footballers, was published in 2017 and longlisted for the Gordon Burn Prize. A Long Walk Home by Judith Tebbutt (2012), for which he was co-writer, was a Sunday Times bestseller and a National Book Awards nominee.
